DESCRIPTION
Heat and dirt are the greatest threats to electrical control systems. They often lead to the failure of entire systems, resulting in significant consequential damage. The commonly used solution of blowing outside air through cabinets, as practiced in many server rooms, leads to the contamination of components. This contamination acts as an insulator between the component and the air, causing the component temperature to rise and, indirectly, increasing the temperature in the server room itself. However, the primary goal should be to cool the components, not the air.
Therefore, a closed air circuit is preferable. Cooling requires not only cool air but also appropriate airflow and air management to prevent hot spots. SCHWÄMMLE cabinet coolers address these requirements with large-scale heat exchangers and corresponding fans.
This series is characterized by particularly powerful fans. The air channels can be routed on both sides, to the left, or to the right, as needed. The airflow is directed through a bottom channel guide and can be adjusted individually.
Cooling capacities up to 25 kW are achieved with inlet/outlet air temperatures of 45/34°C and an inlet water temperature of 26°C. The cabinet cooler is installed in an electrical cabinet enclosure, and the air is distributed through channels in the rack cabinets. Extremely powerful fans are required for this.
For different operating points, please inquire. At lower water temperatures, the performance increases accordingly.
