The SCHWÄMMLE KWR series of water chillers (water/water chillers) offer a space-saving and cost-effective solution with high operational reliability, excellent performance, and adjustable cooling capacity. Whether used in machine tools, laser systems, induction systems, welding machines, or plasma cutting systems, the KWR water chillers handle challenges effortlessly with impressive cooling capacities ranging from 20 kW to 300 kW. The KWR series chillers, from KWR 20 to KWR 300, are compact, plug-and-play units with a space-saving design, making them easy to install. We also offer custom solutions for specific requirements.
A notable example is the KWR 60-S, which boasts a remarkable heat transfer capacity of 60 kW. It delivers process water with a supply temperature of 24 °C and a return temperature of 44 °C, with a cooling water inlet temperature of 20 °C. The cooling water outlet temperature is also 24 °C, with a flow rate of 217 l/min. The required water pressure is 1.5 bar, and the pump performance (for the consumer circuit CM3-9) is 45 l/min at an external pressure of 5.0 bar. The pump power consumption is 1.2 kW, and the total power consumption is 1.3 kW. The unit operates on 3*400 V, 50 Hz, N, PE power supply. The tank capacity is approximately 240 liters, and the dimensions are very compact, with a footprint of just 950 x 950 x 1300 mm.
